The Date Difference Calculator has been upgraded with clearer calculation logic and a cleaner, more compact portal-style layout. The core result is now a normalized precise duration (years, months, weeks, days), while totals by unit remain available as secondary metrics. The calculator now follows elapsed-time counting (start date included, end date excluded), so same-day difference is 0. Date math was improved for edge cases such as reversed ranges, month-end transitions, leap-year boundaries, and weekend-only business day counting. The interface was also redesigned into a compact two-column experience: settings in the first column and results in the second, with simplified cards, reduced typography, and tighter spacing for better readability.
